BSSC Field Assistant Syllabus 2025: Detailed
The preliminary examination will consist of a General Knowledge paper with the following sections:
- (a) General Studies
- (b) General Science and Mathematics
- (c) Mental Ability Test (Comprehension/Logic/Reasoning/Mental Ability)
The questions will be objective and multiple-choice type. The exam will have a total of 150 questions. Each correct answer will carry 4 marks, and there will be a deduction of 1 mark for each incorrect answer. The duration of the examination will be 2 hours and 15 minutes. The language of the examination will be Hindi and English. If there is any difference between the Hindi and English question papers, the English version will be considered valid.

(ii) Mathematics: Questions related to number systems, computation of whole numbers, decimals and fractions, relationships between numbers, fundamental arithmetic operations, percentage, ratio and proportion, average, interest, and profit and loss.
(c) Mental Ability Test
